GSSDA PRESIDENTS MESSAGE
Congratulations to Rich & Shea Meincke and the Hilton Head Ocean Waves for sponsoring and promoting a successful GSSDA Winter Dance. All attendees (15+ squares) had a great time. Hats off to the fine calling and cueing at this dance.It's time to prepare for the Spring Dance to be held May 2, 2009 in Augusta, Ga. This dance will be hosted by the Star Promenaders Square Dance Club. There will be a Trail End Dance Friday, May 1st. All GSSDA members will be admitted free to the Saturday night May 2nd dance. If you are not a GSSDA member, please consider joining now to take advantage of all GSSDA has to offer you as a member.
Did you know GSSDA sponsors and promotes a Dancers Leadership Seminar? This great tool can help club officers and members with many problems clubs face. If your Federation and or club would like to sponsor one of these events, contact your GSSDA Board Member in your area or email any one of our Board of Directors.
We would like to hear from any dancer or club that would like to voice an opinion about anything pertaining to Square Dancing. If you have something that works well for your club, we would like you to share with us; maybe it would help another club. Let us hear from you.
